Newly accepted Applied Optics Paper, first author Connor Lindsay

Congratulations to Institute of Thin Films, Sensors and Imaging (ITFSI) final year PhD student Connor Lindsay as first author on a new accepted Applied Optics publication - early posting access at https://lnkd.in/eP2gaEPN 

The publication provides a general description of  microwave plasma assisted sputter deposition of silicon nitride,  providing description of a unique combination of properties relevant to integrated photonics and quantum technology.  Moreover, inline with Connor`s specific PhD topic the paper also discusses potential application of silicon nitride as a constituent material in gravitational wave detector (GWD) optical reflector coatings.
