The Institute of Thin Films, Sensors and Imaging is presenting 3 papers in the 7th International conference on Material Sciences & Smart Materials (MSSM). Prof. Des Gibson will deliver a plenary invited talk (6th of August 2021) in the First special IMechE Greater London Region symposium on Material Science and Smart Materials, where Prof. Gibson will present an overview of the ongoing investigations at the Institute focused on "Advances in energy harvesting materials for self-powering sensors." Mr. Manuel Pelayo, and Mr. Connor Douglas will also present their research work on energy harvesting devices and pressure sensors for robotics (5th of August 2021).
